Cynotilapia

Okay, so not so sure about Tangs -- I'm liking the Lake Malawi genus Cynotilapia, including "Afra Yellow Mara", Orange-Black " and "White-top Afra". Anybody have any experience with these? Could I keep all three together? How many, other species recommended?

Generally speaking IMO i would not keep more then one of the Cynotilapia species in the same tank unless you got only males. The reason i say this is to purely keep the species distinct and not introduce x-breed fish to the hobby which is very easy to do when it comes to malawi cichlids.
