if my platy has fry will a 5gal be ok to keep them in or would they need bigger:shock:

I keep mine in less than that. Then later, as they grow larger I add them to the community tank or sell them back to the LFS. But to answer the question, yes a 5 gallon would be sufficient. Be careful about the filter though. You might want to buy a sponge filter so the babies don't get sucked up and eaten by the filter.

i have a mini filter that could not eat them.she had her babies last night their orange and white i caught about 7.:-d
