laying platy?

i have a platy that ive had for awhile and i noticed that she behaves normal but occasionly she rubs against my banana plant and anubias nana then swims normally then goes back and does it again. everything is normal with her, diet, movement, but i noticed she does this now. i dont see any growths or parasites on her nor any discoloration.

That is a hard one, u might want to look up all fish diseases in google and see if she has one of the diseases.

Maybe shes geting something from the plant or it could be her persanality

hopefully... none of the other fish do so. she eats normally. oh well. I dont see her do it often. just that one time

occassional rubbing is nothing to worry about. But if the fish does it very often, like once every 20-30 seconds, then this could be a symptom of ich.

Don't rule out skin and gill flukes either if it keeps rubbing the same area. It's one of the few ways to indicate presence of flukes otherwise a gill or skin scrape is needed to determine presence of flukes. Praziquantel can treat this.

She appears to not have any obviouse parasites and the only way that I can she that she got anythink like that is when I introduced a new betta to the tank, but she did this before the betta came in.
