Stocking Scheme #4
This is completly different from my number 3. THis is all in a 20 gallon high tank
7 Zebra danios which i already have
2 Bolivian rams
4 ghost shrimp
2 20 gallon filters, adds up to 40 gallon filtration
tons of hiding spots
2 coconut caves
Perfect.:welldone: Good luck.:)
oh, i thought it would be over crowded, well i hope this one works cause im done cycling and im getting fish this weekend :D i'll probably get the ottos first, then the rams another day. Do ottos require drift wood, i dont have any drift wood...
I prefer the reverse. Otos are more delicate than the bolivians. No, they don't need driftwood but they can use it for a hideout.:)
oh ok, i heard ottos are very hardy, so bolivians first... Wait, i forgot the main reason im getting ottos, to get rid of my poo algae (its what i will call it from now on) Would it be alright to get ottos first, or are you sticking to your word?
possibly these new fish will encourage schooling, my danios never school unless theres about to be a storm
Like Neon's, Otto's can be stressed from shipping and poor handling.
In an older aquarium (plants help a lot) you may have 3 out of 5 live past the 6 month point. If its a newer tank you'll be lucky if 2 live.
The ones that live will be very hardy.
