do pink kissing gouramis eat snails?
i have a few snails, not totally sure what kind, (i got them from walmart to feed my green spotted puffer), and i was wondering if i could put them in my tank with my pink kissing gourami. the gourami is about 4-5 inches, and the snails are tiny. do you think the gourami will eat them? thanks. also, how long does it take for the snails to lay eggs? i have 8 snails now
I think the snails will be fine with the gourami.
To answer you snail breeding question,It would help to know what kind of snails you have. Ramshorn snails are a type of snail commonly fed to puffers.
i put them in the tank with the gourami and within the next day or two, they were all dead. they were in tubberware with holes in the lid before, and they were fine for a couple days. o well, i just fed them to my puffer
Opps, I guess I was wrong about gouramis. Sorry.
When I had gouramis, they did nothing but float around the top.
Yea, doing a little google search, gouramis do kill snails, so sorry to misinform you!
that's alright! i got them for free anyway and just fed them to my puffer.
