Unexpected Platy Fry. Am I doing this correctly?
 

I have a 20 gallon tank and I thought my Sunset Fire Wag Platy looked pregnant. BTW, I know nothing about raising fish. I did some research and found that the other fish would just end up eating the babies and I figured that was best as I already have

2 Platys
2 Rainbow Sharks
1 Pleco
2 Zebra Danios
3 Mollies
1 Glass Barb
1 Panda Catfish
1 Dojo Loach

And I didn't want to overload the tank but when I saw a tiny little fish hiding behind the plants I had to try to protect them. I put a divider in the tank and I have seen up to 8 babies at one time on the Fry side of the tank. I feed them the "Fry Food" I bought from the fish store and cyclopse. It's odd because some of the babies are half the size of the others. I've had them about 2-3 weeks and I don't really know how old they can be before pulling the divider out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

When they are big enough to NOT be seen as food by the older/bigger fish, Around a month or so, Really depends on the fry and how fast they develop,

Mine are about a month now, and they're to big to be eaten.
So I would wait a month or so.
