What type of fish should I put in my 20 gallon

I am looking for sugestions on what fish I should put in a 20 gallon tall hex tank. I want to put tetras and some one told me corys would be good but I was thinking that they might get to big. I was thinking about plattys, ballon mollies or guppies but I don't realy know if they would be good.

Were it me,(and it ain't) I would go with a dozen gold pristella ,or blood fin,or silver tipped tetras. Or maybe some white cloud minnows. For bottom duty, I would maybe opt for three or four kuhlii loaches. Cory cats would appreciate a twenty gal long tank and the hex tank would limit their ability to cruise the bottom in my humble opinion. I might go with a sand substrate. All of this of course AFTER the tank has matured or (cycled).
