21 Gallon Tank Stocking Sudgestions? Maybe a dwarf puffer?
Does anyone know if I would be able to keep a dwarf puffer in a 21 gallon tank and if so is there a way I would be able to keep some albino cory cat fish in there as well or no? If I'm not able to what would I be able to put in with the dwarf puffer?
Thank you for any help you can give me!
Yes you can put a dwarf puffer in a 21 gallon tank. You could probably get away with 2-3 in there but I have to ask you don't plan to put them into a brackish water tank do ya?? Only asking cause you have this question in the brackish section. They are freshwater puffer if you don't know already.
As for tank mates well this can be tricky! They really are best by themselves as they are aggressive lil fish even to other puffers. I know about the only fish ppl keep with Dwarf Puffers are Oto catfish and this simply due to they are usually to fast for the puffers. Will also so say this if you choice to get more then one puffer make sure you get 1 male and then the rest females. In a tank that size 2 males wouldn't be advisable as they will get territorial especially if you have a female in there with them.
