Just call me fin! 3 Attachment(s) Hey I was sent a link and tonight and thought id jump right in by showing my project, but not sure if this is going to be cooperating with me tonight. It might be a little different than what you are used to seeing but its purpose was to add atmosphere to our butterfly garden, but not snakes. Keep in mind it’s a work in progress and the black plastic on the bog filter under the waterfall is just temp to keep it from dripping on the wood. p1 is the pond, p2 Few of the locals checking things out, p3 Out garden that as hatched out 90 monarchs this year and 1 swallowtail yesterday |
looks great, welcome to the forum. |
Thanks, still working on it trying to get the right bog plants, the ones in it now are just test plants. |

We are in TX, I only have a few pics with me now but keep looking we will post others later. We started off with 4 milkweed plants just as something fun for the kids and it didn’t take us long before we were all getting into it and having multiple species showing up. The first pic shows a few crysalys take note of the milkweed.. second pic was shows what’s left of the 4 milkweed and many others that were added just 3 days later.. |
