I've had a blue Gourami in my 55 gal tank for about 6 months now and have only added a couple fish to it since that time. As of the last week or 2 he has gotten real aggressive toward one of my dwarf gourmi and a few other small fish. Anyone have any advice on what to do to help this situation? He tends to stay toward the top of the water most of the time and I have the bottom of my tank broken up with a couple decorations and plants. Thanks
Hmm, I have the same issue with my male rainbowfish. My LFS said its about the time they spawn. Not too familiar with blue gourami spawning, but perhaps this is the cause.
Just a suggestion.
Could it be cause I only have one of them (I believe he is a male)?
Umm I don't think so, however it could be. The Blue Gourami I had was never aggressive, even after his mate died.
