New Tiger Barbs

Hey, i just purchased 6 tiger barbs for my new 20 gallon. First question is just any advice for care of these tiger barbs, since i have never had them before.

Second, i was wondering if eventually i could at some neon tetras in with these 6 fish, do you think they will be ok together? In the past my neons have stayed lower in the tank and i know they have small fins, so i'm not too worried about nipping, but i just wanna make sure its ok. Thanks everyone.

IMO, I would add more tiger barbs...maybe albino or green to give a little more color, maybe 4-6. The larger the school the better they "behave". I think the smaller neons in that size tank would become very stressed with the AD-HD tiger barbs.

I agree with MrMarc.......I think adding the neons wouldnt be a good idea, they are too passive for the tiger barbs........More barbs or possibly some buenos aires tetras......just a thought
