i dont kno wat to do i already changed filters and used some accu clear please
First, do you know what the source of the cloudiness is?
Are these fish still in a twenty gal.? It could help to add another small filter or perhaps one larger filter. You might also consider your feeding schedule. Many cichlids are messy eaters and by reducing feeding and increasing the water changes to twice a week you may see an improvement. I would keep an eye out for forty gal breeder tank or fiftyfive gal tank to house these fish in. Water parameters And cloudinesss are much easier dealt with in larger body of water. Hope some of this helps. If this is not the twenty gal tank but a new larger tank,, then cloudiness is not uncommon and is frequently due to bacteria blooms which will subside as the tank matures without the use of chemicals. Decaying food on the bottom of the tank will also cause water to cloud and should be removed with gravel vaccum during water changes. Filters remove whats in the water but will not remove whats laying on the bottom. Hope some of this helps.
they are still in the twenty gal and i usually feed once a day and they eat it all i also have two filters on the tank which was helping but has stopped helping. im kinda upset because i cannot see my beautiful fish very well :( . thanks for your help tho i will trying not feeding for a day and see if i can see a change i also just changed tthe filter to see if that would help.
