Snail floating? Help please!

I have a freshwater snail in my one betta tank and its floating around t the top of the tank...I know its not dead as it's attaching to the wall when its not floating then I walk in the room and its floating again! He floats more then he doesn't! Is this normal? So confused as to how to stop this....

It's normal. Does he eat well and move around? If so, I wouldn't worry about it.

How do you know if a snail is eating well?

It should be out and about foraging the surroundings for food and munching on anything. Most are nocturnal so try feeding when you turn off the lights.
