Betta Disease, super fast!
My betta just got a really wierd disease or something. Yesterday he was fine, this morning some fungicide/fin rot just started. I put some Pima Fix (a fungus treatment from API) but it doesn't seem to have done anything. This morning there was just a bit of fungus and the fins looked a bit 'eaten/chopped' (from fin rot I think). Now his fins are almost all decintigrated and holey, and there is fungus (white cotton stuff0 all over him and he has turned from a purple blue to a reddish brown. I cleaned his tank (2.5 gallons) a couple days ago and he was fine and I always add water conditioner. I am guessing it is already to late but hopefully not.
Thanks for the help!
(I will try post some pictures but my camara really sucks and you can't see anything in the pictures so far)
I would keep using the prima fix along with daily water changes.
He was lying on the ground and the snails were all on top of him so I took him out and put him in a bowl, but he died soon after. Still wondering what the disease was though, if anyone knows.
I'm so sorry about your betta.
