Snails & plant ferts??

My tank is just about through cycling and when I do my big water change I plan to put a couple (it's a 5 gallon tank) Seachem Flourish Tabs in the gravel. My worry is that they may hurt the snails I plan to put in there. Will they lower the Ph? My Ph is now 7.6 and has been that all through the cycling process. Thanks.

I just noticed one of the ingredients is .001% copper -- is this small amount enough to hurt snails?

It's a very small trace. What's the KH and GH?

Actually I have never tested the KH & GH. For the past 6 weeks though (ever since I started cycling) the Ph has remained at a constant 7.6.
I usually only test for Ph, Nitrites, Nitrates and ammonia. Should I be testing for the other 2??
Thanks.

Yes, Amy. Test the other two. Helps to know if it'll cause bigger impact on the pH. Not an issue to fish but it is for snails since any downgrade of pH can damage their shells.

What should these two numbers be for snails? And would the copper in the Flourish tabs effect this?
Thanks

pH should be at least 7.4 and above while KH and GH no lower than 3-4. I do not believe a small trace of copper will harm the snails. If you are worried, don't use the ferts.
