Snails & plant ferts??
My tank is just about through cycling and when I do my big water change I plan to put a couple (it's a 5 gallon tank) Seachem Flourish Tabs in the gravel. My worry is that they may hurt the snails I plan to put in there. Will they lower the Ph? My Ph is now 7.6 and has been that all through the cycling process. Thanks.
I just noticed one of the ingredients is .001% copper -- is this small amount enough to hurt snails?
It's a very small trace. What's the KH and GH?
Actually I have never tested the KH & GH. For the past 6 weeks though (ever since I started cycling) the Ph has remained at a constant 7.6.
I usually only test for Ph, Nitrites, Nitrates and ammonia. Should I be testing for the other 2??
What should these two numbers be for snails? And would the copper in the Flourish tabs effect this?
