Anyone else with ideas? I am going to be getting some on Friday (my LFS finally got a distrib with some in stock). Everything I've read on them is negative with out solid descriptions of why you would not get them. The only thing I can think of is that the feeding wasn't handled correctly.

Careful with what type you end up purchasing. Do your research on the sp. carefully, as some reproduce at fantastic speed. They are asexual I believe.
