Mudskipper Tankmates

Hi all,

New to this forum, but not to fish-keeping! I got a mudskipper a few months ago, and boy has he blown up huge. I'm moving him to a bigger paludarium, and I'd really like to get him a few tankmates. I'm considering fiddler crabs, some shrimp (as long as they last), and maybe something like tiger barbs (I heard they can handle brackish?), or anything that won't fit in his mouth. I had mollies in there but he ate those as soon as he got big enough (he's about 5-6 inches, African-type species). Any good suggestions for a big (but not too big) enough tankmate(s) in my brackish paludarium? Tank is 40g.

Thanks, Erin

ps. get a mudskipper they are so COOL

cleaned dirt from bottom of tank, let settle to bottom of bucket, removed some with turky baster, put in white dish
there are hundreds of little creatures, swimming the edges... What are these???

could they be baby fish fry?

I wonder what the little tiny things are?
