can anyone tell me what type of clam this is i am posting a pic
I have the same one but a little darker and bought it under the maxima clam.
If its blue is more than likely a maxima clam
My bet is with crocea due to the amount and eveness of the fleshy mantle. Maximas extend a scallop like pattern of half circles to this continuous 1" wide mantle.
Thread moved. Clams are invertebrates.
I noticed the title was also changed. There was a huge difference understanding the first one.
Ok sorry. I looked it up and it does look like a croacea(or however you spell it).
