Feeding zuchinni....how often?
 

I have started feeding the fish in my one 90, slices of zuchinni...........stick it on a fork and place it on the bottom of the tank...........I was amazed how quickly the first piece completely disappeared..........It was the end piece at the stem.......They ate the remaining part of the stem also..........My question is, can i over due it with the zuchinni?...........It seems mostly my barbs and nerite snails are the ones mostly eating it, but i have seen my one guorami picking at it too............Should i only put some in once a week, or is this a good supplement to their everyday diet......I already have quite a varied diet for the tank, but not sure how often i should feed them fresh zucchinni?..........Any responses will be grateful...........

I feed zucchini maybe a couple times a week. It's mostly my pleco that goes for it.

If they eat it and the other foods they need you really can't overdo it. After two days it gets really stinky and rotton. If there's anything left I'd take it out. Usually my snails and fish really start to chow on it after a day (once it gets smelly and starts to rot.) Whatever, as long as they're healthy and happy.
