fresh, salt, biotope .... i just don't know
 

I received a 25 gal. galss tanks with stand ans a Eclipse2 system.
I have the tanks setup right now and cycled as fresh.
Sand with 10% coral mix and flat stone wall - no plants yet.
Here is the problem. I have had many tanks over the years ... 5 gal to 300 gal.
Fresh, Salt, Africans, Reef, etc. but I want to set this tank up as a biotope (for me)
and keep the kids happy at the same time.
Any sugestions?
