Hello Fish Forumers!

I'm quite new, both here and in the aquatics hobby. Actually, I haven't actually started yet! I've got my small outdoor pond built up but it's still dry, since I haven't bought any pumps, plants, or fish yet. I'm planning to keep a few koi and/or goldfish there.

My dad used to keep an aquarium when I was young, though he had to stop when he had to work in a faraway place. That, aside from the occasional trips to pet shops and oceanariums to look at fish, are my exposures to this wonderful hobby, which I now plan to delve (or dive! XD) into.

I agree with you! I haven't even started and I've spent many hours researching on it already!

I'm a fresh college grad and currently unemployed (probably will be for the next few months) so I've decided to spend my free time setting up a pond. Playing too much video games is bad for the eyes so fishkeeping is quite the healthy alternative.

A pond in the yard, hope all your hard work pays off and you enjoy your fish when you get them. Planting a pond would be alot of fun too.
