Adding a canister filter...

Hey everyone

My basement is finally finished! I will be setting up my new 55G tank on thursday night. I'm so excited!!! I currently am running a marineland biowheel 200 on my 20G L. I plan on throwing that on the 55G with another marineland 350. I was weighing the possibility of adding a marineland C-220 Canister filter. Would all of that be too much?

I'm looking at a few different filtration options:
Option 1 -
(1) Marineland Bio-Wheel 200
(1) Marineland Bio-Wheel 350
(1) Marineland C-220 Canister Filter

Option 2
(2) Maineland Bio-Wheel 350's
(1) Marineland C-220 Canister Filter

Option 3
Just use two 350's or the 350 and 200, no canister

What do you guys think? I've been doing some research and I am leaning towards getting the canister and use two 350's....but i'm not sure, I'd to hear some other people opinions, thanks in advance!

I've been taking pictures through my craiglist salvage, so maybe I'll make a post about the adventure

Just the 200 and the 350 would be double recommended filtration for your 55. You could get a pretty heavy stocking list in there with just those two and be fine. There will be no reason to add a canister if all you have to do is buy the 350. Just don't forget that when you transfer over the 200 to the tank, make sure to put some fish in right away as to not lose your already established bacteria on the 200.

yeah, i plan on putting on the 350, getting it running and the temp up to water and transfer the fish and the filter all at once and go from there. Maybe I will just for-go the canister filter and just run with the two bio-wheels, maybe wait for others to chime in, thanks for you help!!
