Black ghost knife feeding with the lights on

I've gotten it eating NLS pellets for a couple weeks now, and it's even starting to come out for daytime feedings. The plan was to keep it in the 29 QT until it was eating pellets and eating well, so I'm glad to see it eating with the lights on. The fish is almost entirely nocturnal. As soon as I turn out the light, it's zooming all over the tank, and like the flip of the light switch, as soon as the lights come on it's in the ghost house.

So, now that it's eating, the background is on and I've upgraded the living room TV (decided it would be best to do before the tank was unmovable and in the way), it's finally time to fill the new 125 up! It's been sitting empty in my living room (where the 90 and 75 used to be) for about 3 months now.

Very cute!. How old was your BGK when you got it? Didn't realize they were so shy.

I have no idea how old it is, but to answer your question, about 2 months younger than it is now :-)

Yeah, they are light sensitive. I'm sure it rules the night!

Thanks for the update, I've been wondering how he's doing. . . such amazing and . . . BIZARRE creatures, lol, I love them!!! Fantastic that you have him eating pellets, and that he's losing his shyness. Too bad you don't have a night-vision camera. . . I want to see him out and all over the place! I CAN'T WAIT for that 125g (as you well know :D) FILL IT!!! *ish excited*
