Ich Question

My rams and loaches in my 30 gallon have Ich, and I have started a high temp/salt treatment. My question is... Should I remove the fish that don't have it? Or is it possible that they do have it and will spread it if I move them to another tank?

Treat all the fish. Fish can be ick carriers even if they are showing no signs.

I just had my first ich outbreak in 7 years, i just raised the temp and added aquarium salt and it went away in 3 days....I was gonna dose them with meds, but my meds were so old i chucked them out......planned to get something for the ich, but everything said not safe for shrimp, so i just tried the heat and salt treatment and it worked well for me............IMO, if some fish have ich in your tank, then the ich cysts are present in the tank, so yes i would treat the whole tank.........In my experience, some fish will never get ich no matter how bad it gets in there tank......It just seems some species are not prone to gettting it

One other thing, if you have scaleless fish in your tank, i would only half dose the meds.........Scaleless fish dont handle meds well
