Let there be light ...

220 salt FOWLR , Need lights it now has 2x 96 watt ballast and another 2 x 96 watt ballast .one which is fried so im in the market for new lights. been reading on this and from what i understand is FOWLR
I can use any old light will work.BUT I here T 5 are more efficent and run cooler ?? but only problem low watt,
could i get the 60 inch which is 80 watts , if so how many would i need ?
Or just get the PC but I like the fact of something being more efficent and cooler?
Thanks again great forum !!!!

What do you need high wattage for if you are going to just have a FOWLR tank? I have high watt count because i keep a reef. If you have a FOWLR you have no need for good lights. I would go with just something like 2 T5 bulbs, or Some other PC lights. I don't recommend getting anything expensive because it'll be just a waste of money for you... unless you do plan on getting corals down the road.
