Now Im getting p*ssed off!!

As you know, I have 6 bala sharks. AND a blue lobster. hes been SO good for the longest time until tonight. He got one of my smaller ones. I was pissed but nothing I could do. I just check and he just killed another one. NOW im realllly pissed off!!! I don't want him anymore. Do you think if I went to the pet store I could ask if they would take it? They have no blue lobsters there so I think they could make a profit. I love my balas but theres no way im letting this blue sebastian kill them. UGHHHH

Im sorry. I needed to rant.

they should tak him off your hand. they may not give you anything for it tho

brettxw 03-29-2009 02:06 AM

Dont want anything for him.

What would cause him to do this though? Hes been SO good for so long. Never attacking or killing any other fish.

he is geting use to his surondings and teritorial.

Makes me mad. Before any fish would swim around him and touch him and he wouldnt do anything. I saw him yesterday climbing the plant and sitting there where the sharks usually swim in as if he was waiting for them. GR.

i can't put him in the 12g tank with the tetras cuz Im sure he'll go after those too.

I had a crab that would climb a plant and extend his claw, opening and closing it. The fish sat back and watched him, so in no time my betta killed him. Get a 10g or so and try to breed your lobster, very expensive.Or you can mail it to me i have an extra 10g.=)

If you have a 5+gallon plastic bin you could put him in there till you figure out what to do with him, fill it with tank water. If you have a spare heater/filter add that, if not add something to remove the ammonia. He will be fine in it for a few days.

He's a predator, its what they do. This isn't odd behavior, the not killing the fish when he could was the odd behavior.
