I can't find just a 10 gallon
 

I'm having an issue finding a 10 gallon tank. I can't find one! All I see is kits (that are usually below ten or above ten). I already have a filter for this thing, and I have plenty of gravel and decor, so I don't want a whole kit. I just need a 10 gallon tank and a hood. Does anyone know where you can find one?

Have you looked at Petsmart?
I think I have seen them there. Another option, would be to look on Craigs List. Might find a used one for cheap.

I see them all the time at petsmart, petco, and a couple others. Ushaully there no where near the kits. there in another aisle on the opposite wall.

I see them at Wal Mart as well. You can also check craigs list and free cycle. i see a lot fo ten gallon tanks there...sometimesneed a little cleaning but really inepensive. leaves more money for fish foods!

Empty 10G, 20H, 20L, 29G, 55G, 40G tanks are all over Petsmart's and Petco's. Are you sure you are looking in the right area?

Petsmarts do not sell empty tanks except for the 20L and 55 around here. Petcos on the other hand has more empty 10gal for $11.99 than you could throw a stick at.....

My Petsmart only sells HUGE empty tanks. And I don't have a Petco. And on both websites...nothing. I know Walmart has one. I have a LFS I haven't looked at yet.

do you have anything like "freecycle"
i think it's on the same lines as craigs list.
shame you don't live near me i've got one.

I've been looking at Freecycle and Craigslist every day now. :) I'm hoping one will come up eventually. I can wait. I actually had a scare that my fish tank was leaking, but it was condensation. But now it's all cool so I'm planning on waiting until I can find one on sale before buying.
