55 gallon with mollies ect?
Ok i have a 55 gallon tank. I was wondering if i over crowded it? I have a 3 inch common pleco, 7 mollies, 2 3 inch archers, 3 white painted tetras and 2 2 inch columbin sharks. It is realy planted an rock caves at one end of it.
just at a quick glance...a common pleco can grow to be quite large. I've seen them almost 15".
tetras should be kept in a school of atleast 6
you may run into some tetorial issues with the two sharks
how long has it been set-up??
i have had it for 3 months. my com pleco is going to a 125 gallon in a few months. so is it over crowded /
the sharks are going into the 125 to and the tetras r they worth keeping they just stay in the midle of the tank an do do any thing?
just looked in my tank and ive got 5 babys swiming around
I think the sharks are going to require brackish water as they age.
it is a brakish tank and could any of u tell me if its over crowded i want to ad mor mollies
I would leave it as is because your mollies are going to reproduce over and over again they are worse than rabbits and then you tank will be over crowded I put 10 mollies in my 55 originally and now I have well over 50 and I dont know what to do with all of them.
DO NOT ADD MORE MOLLIES!!!! i agree with lowco, ....with those babies multiplying and your pleco, you'll have plenty on your hands for right now!!!
