my father has a large which pond is 6ft 9inchs deep at the deepest which is aparently standard for large koi ponds i think the depth is going to depentent on surface area the larger the surface the deeper you can go

Hi,

If you wish to keep Koi in your pond then you will need to have it at least 6ft deep so the Koi have good space which will help them develope the body shape correctly.
