i just received an email from a desperate person needing a good home for there Tropical Lobster/Crayfish.
Can anyone give me any information on it?
They will attack/ambush your fish and kill them. Best for a specie-only tank.

I thought they would.
I have a spare 25gallon..
Would it be happy in that?

Why not, well not if hes a dinner size lobster. give him a cave he'll back in and some feeder guppies so he can hunt cuz he likes to. He'll also eat frozen shrimp. Sand substrate would be perfect. Is it blue ? i would breed blues, heck i' d like it.

yep, 10g is the minimum tank size I have heard for them, so 25g would be a dream home!

Great... Yeh I Think He's Blue, Not A Dark Blue Though.
It Has Already Got Sand As Substrate, Its Been Cycled And Set Up For A Couple Of Years, I Aways Keep A Spare Fully Cycled Tank In Case Anyone Contacts Me Saying They Cant Keep Their Fish For Whatever Reasons..!!

cool! make sure ur plant isn't planted.... they will destroy it! fake plants are best, and most crayfish are coldwater! :)

Theres no plants in it, and there is a heater in it but its not on!! Dont keep live plants in my emergency tank as if they die off my ammonia levels would rise, and the tank wouldnt be ready to stock fish straight away!
