What do I do to clean my aquarium glass?
As in a previous thread I mentioned I am going to be setting up my previous tank again. Its been sitting dry for about over a month now. I want to clean the glass so its not dirty. Can I just use glass cleaner? or do I use water that I pour into the tank as im filling it up?
i wouldn't advise glass cleaner,as this could lead onto poisioned fish,
use a mix of vinigar and water, you should find it comes off with that,
if you have stubbon calcuim build up,you can carefully scrape it off with a razor blade,
after wash the tank a couple of times with fresh water, before the final fill.
yep...NO GLASS CLEANER. you want to keep your tank free of any chemicals( such as soap, detergent, etc)
