thinking of getting canister filter what do u suggest i have a 55 gal tank
Im partial to the Rena XP series of filters...........i have 7 tanks in my house and 5 of those tanks are running Rena XP filters on them and IMO they do a great job.........For a 55 (which i have 3) i run the Rena XP2..........My idea was to find an all around good canister filter to use on all my tanks.......My reasoning was buying filter media was gonna be alot easier if i only had to deal with one type of media for all my filters..........I buy my media in bulk since i have many tanks and this saves me money in the long run...............Dont get me wrong, Fluval's and Eheims are excellent products also, but dealing with this many thanks, i think the Rena series is a bigger bang for your buck
I love Fluval, I got mine second-hand and it's perfect!
i have the fluval 305,it's nice and quiet, runs well.
i would buy another,if this one ever did break down.
