malaysian wood
 

i got a piece of malaysian wood from petsmart the brand is hagen. it says you can just put it in that it has already been cleaned. i did soak it in water for 24hrs i put it in the tank already but now i'm wondering if i should have soaked it some more or did something else to it. the water that i soaked it in was clear when i soaked it if that has any meaning

you could always remove it if you wanted to,do you not like tannis ?

it isn't changing the color of the water, i wanted to know if there was something else i should have done with it. because it isn't leaking tannis into my tank.

i don't think you need to do anything to it,

If you don't want tannins and it isn't releasing tannins then you are fine. You could boil it though...
