Tiger Endlers arriving soon
Can I put a pair of Tiger endlers together in my cycled 6 gal. tank which has cherry shrimp. Should I add 3 glow-light tetras from another tank. I don't want the male to pick on the female as I would like to get babies from the pair. I'm going to get them shipped tomorrow as I could not find any in my area.
I'm not sure I'd add the glow-lights as they really need a bigger school than three and they might pose a threat to your Endler fry. You'd really be better off with two females for your male but for some reason sellers tend to offer Ender's in pairs rather than trios. In general they're pretty sociable fish though so you shouldn't have too many problems with the male harassing the female. I don't think the Endler's will eat adult cherry shrimp but they might eat the baby shrimp.
