Can these two types of fish breed?

A Von Rio Tetra and a Black Skirt Tetra?
and a Neon Tetra with a Glowlight Tetra?

I'm also wondering how to tell them apart between male and female?

No, they cannot. And a general rule for sexing tetras is that females are bigger, broader, and plumper, but this is very vague. A skinny female could be confused for a male, and vice versa. The best way to get a breeding colony of tetras is to buy around 6-10.

ok so we have to buy 6-10 and put them in the breeding box to have them breed. correct ?
