how to breed my emerald catfishes
 
Iv got eight emerald catfish.Not the corydoras.Anyways,ive been wanting to breed them because i got the space to fill them up and they are cool.Any tips or help please.:-D

Greetings. There are hundreds of resources on-line to assist you in spawning Corys, including B. splendens, which is what I assume you have, as they are usually sold as Emerald catfish.

That being said, B. splendens are not a good choice for those without a lot of experience spawning Corys as they are one of the more difficult species to spawn and it is even harder to achieve a good fry survival rate.

They require nothing out of the ordinary, compared to other Corys. Good conditioning and patience are the major prerequisites to attaining success spawning this specie. If you have not already, I would suggest cutting your teeth on a specie that would assure you a higher level of success. That way you will gain the knowledge required and strong self-confidence in approaching a more difficult specie.
