I have 8 emerald catfish not corys.and 3 dinosaur bichirs the size of your pinky fingers put together. when they grow will they eat my cats?:-)

It's entirely possible. Bichirs are highly predatory and are known to get over a foot in length. Also, your B. splendens are armored so there's also a chance that they'll get stuck in the mouth/throat of the bichirs, which would be fatal for both.
