How do you get such good pictures????
How does everybody get such good pictures of their fish, do I need a really expensive camera or just a tripod??
The camera I have is a piece of garbage, but it's getting a little old now. Last summer my girlfriend bought a Canon Powershot SD1100 I think it is... its a normal point and shoot digital camera, it's relatively cheap and it takes really good pictures. When I took pictures of my fish with it I just turned off everything in the room except the tank light, adjusted the ISO on the camera and used the macro function. It takes a bit of practice but you'll get it.
Also, if you use a tripod or something else stationary to hold the camera (a chair even) it'll help make the pictures more clear.
I use a stool now, holds it pretty steady but they're still blurry. What's the macro function btw?
Macro function is for taking pics of small objects that are within 3 feet of you or something. On digital cameras, there's usually a button with a flower on it. That's the macro function.
Yeah my camera has that, thanks a lot, that will probably help out
