Quality of pics not so good but here they are, I still need to add so more plants i think and a background but we havent found one we like. My 6 year old son picked out all the stuff in there and told me exactly how he wanted it to look :-) afterall its his tank, i just help him take care of it for now :-D

from what i can see your son is a smart kid, it looks nice. when you get a background it will look even better.

Thanks! sorry pics are so small, they are from my husbands iphone. when i take some real ones(with my camera that i hardly know how to use) LOL i'll post up bigger and better ones.

Your 6 year old did a great job designing the set up. It looks really nice. I can hardly wait to see what he'll do with a 100 gal once he's old enough to want one :-)

Thanks! If it were up to him we would have a tank in every room in the house :shock:

His next project is a dinosuar eel he's been wanting for a long time, we have a 16 gallon that we'll start setting up soon, i know the eel will outgrow that pretty fast but we have a friend that would give it a home if that happens.

Sounds like he'll be a crazy fish person like us soon! He did a nice job decorating that tank, what do you have in it?

Your son has done a fine job! I have always believed and my own expierience has proven that if you can get a young boy interested in a hobby of some sort at an early age, they are much less mischevious in their teens. Girls, being made of sugar and spice,and all things nice, don't seem to present nearly the challenge that young boys are sometimes noted for, But one of my three sisters would appear to be an exception. Just keep on top of regular small weekly water changes along with not overfeeding and the fish will present few problems.:-)

Haha...I'm a girl and I'm only sugar and spice around my animals! I'm not mean to people, but I don't take crap either....safe to say I've never been bullied (but I'm not a bully myself either). I'm not a trouble maker, but people are certainly shocked when they realize that I'm more into karate & learning to fight, oh and shooting targets with my gun than doing my hair (I don't even know how to use a straightener or a curling iron lol)!

It's neat that your son is into fish keeping. I wish that someone in my family would get into the hobby too!
