breeding Albino with non

hey just wanted to know if i could breed a male Albino Kribensis with a female nonAlbino Kribensis. ?

It's very possible. They are of different strains but still the same species. The outcome of fry is still the same. Some will be albino, some will not.

It would be interesting to see the percentage of albino/non-albino. I wonder if one is more common than the other?

I realise this is a very old thread, but I thought I'd get my tuppence worth in

The reason males often prefer albino females is that the pink/red belly that they display during spawning time is more radient in albinos and so they appear more attractive to the males.

For some reaosn that I'm not sure of however, it is more diffucult to breed an albino male with a normal female.
