10 gallon?

I have a aquaclear 30 on my ten gallon with a suitable heater (cant remember how many watts but it does fine), and an extra air tube. I also have 6-7 plants in there.
I plan on getting
7 neon tetras
2 honey sunset gouramis
2 power blue dwarf gouramis
Is that overstocked, If it isnt, what bottom feeder should i get.

because of the added filtration, you should be fine. just keep the ac30 on the high side, and youre good to go

woudl i be able to get a bottom feeder? if so what should i look into

jimmyhoye 02-23-2009 08:03 PM

would it be better if i had 4 of the same type of gourmai instead of 2 different types

I would IMO say no on the pleco (bottom dweller).... I like to be more cautious with fish. I would just stick with what you have...

what about a catfish? What type should i look into. Or should i go for Ghost shrimp to pick up the waste

aspects 02-23-2009 08:50 PM

you should get a gravel vacuum to pick up the waste and forget about the bottom feeder

I agree with aspects on doing gravel vacs. You're already at your stocking limit as is.
