What do you do with your water changes?
What do you do with your water changes? I usually water all my plants(excluding vegetables) with it. The problem is that I don't know if it is safe to water vegetables with that water.. And, an increasing number of tanks means having more "used" tank water to dispose of.
Use it on my plants unless it contains meds.
are there any health hazards? eg. if you water lettuce with your tank water. will there be some kind of contamination?
No, it will be fine. Indians used to plant a dead fish under each corn plant. Think about it.
However, I wouldn't suggest using water from your hospital tank.
ir ekon itd b fine, dont have many plant that rnt in a fish tank though so dont take my word for it
It's mainly water from my fry/growout tanks. I do water changes everyday. And a weekly water change to my other tanks ;-)
Dump into the garden. Unless their is meds.
All my water from water changes goes straight into my front flower bed. I use liquid ferts in my tank as it's a planted tank. Since I started adding this water to the flowers they have gone "off". My water changes are dual purpose :-D
Right into the tub.
Right down the drain.
