Tiger Barbs nipping Angels

Well, I was warned, and sure enough my tigers nipped my angel's fins a bit. So...after awhile of trying to get the suckers out, they're in a 10g tank. My Angels fins are not bad, but was just wondering how long it would take a 1/8" split to grow back on the tail fin. Thanks, Sj

Are the Angels is the ten, or the barbs?

They should grow back pretty fast when the proper conditions are provided... Soft water, good water parameters, water changes, etc. My old Angel got nipped a bit by my Kribs at first, but then the fins grew back in like 2/3 weeks.

Seriously? I must have missed the beginning of this thread, because I can't figure out for anything how it is possible that Tiger Barbs and Angelfish were put into the same aquarium.

Did the LFS cause this??? Is so, somebody at the LFS needs a quick kick in the rear. Unbelievable.

The Angels are in the 55, Barbs in the 10.

I know...I was told it probably wouldn't work, but I would of preferred them both be in the 55.

This would not of been a lfs's recommendation.
