Got some polyps. Pics inside.
Well it started out with a mushroom that I got on store credit but today I went and got some polyps. Im not completely sure what kind they are though so if anyone could help me out I appreciate it. A lot of them are already opened up which is awesome! Here are your pics.
brown zoanthid sp.
what kind of lights and bulbs do you have?
OF2F, I think were thinking on the same page here. I think under proper lighting, those Zoanthids may start to color up a bit.
you got it steve
I have them under 130 watt power compacts. They are in a 20 gallon long tank. after a few days i may move them up higher towards the light if need be.
what im talking about is actinics, they may make the polyps color up a bit for you.
One 65 Watt Dual Actinic (420nm/460nm) and one 65 Watt Dual Daylight (6,700K/10,000K) bulb
How big/small is this tank?
It is a 20 gallon long tank. 30x12x12 are the dimensions.
hmm... should be plenty of light, Perhaps that's just the color they are suppose to be... or they could be a little stressed and will color up in a few days...
