Tank literature

I have had freshwater tanks for about 8 years now, and I am ready to start a saltwater tank.
I have read a couple of books, and researched things quite a bit. I would like to do a reef tank, but want to take it slow and do it right. I was just wondering if there was a book out there that is a good "step by step" manual that would be good for me to follow and use for troubleshooting.
Thanks
jv

JV,

This is your lucky day. There is a "bible" in this hobby that is perfect for you. "The Reef Aquarium" by Sprung and Delbeck. It is a 3 part series and you can find it here:

The Reef Aquarium Books | Reef Aquarium Books | Books, Media & Posters | Aquarium - ThatPetPlace.com

Yes, it is an expensive reference set. I am sure you can find it at your local library. Trust me, you will save more money by reading these books than you will spend on their price.
