My amazon tank
10 gallons 1 gold ram 1blue ram 6 neons and 2 spotted corries 2 zebra shrimp and a few common snails 15 watt compact flourecent aqua clear 30 filter
wow! that looks great! How do you keep all of them in a 10 gallon? How often do you change water? They all look really nice and healthy!
i have an aqua clear 30 which is a pretty beefy filter for the tank i also have a double bio ceramic pebble cartrige too nicely cycled along with the bottom feeders snails and shrimp which always hide btw it stays pretty clean the plants help alot too i do a 25% water change everythree weeks but i've gone as long as a month the tank is un covered too. Admittedly i have the occassional ram fight but they dont last long and never get too nasty the tank is 8 months old i just replaced the lighting from a 30 watt 2700k bulb to a 6500k 15 watt muuuuuch better hence why i posted the pics
It looks awesome! Great job with it! The rams are super pretty, and who doesn't love little neons?
yeah neons really are the perfect small tank fish the trick to rams is 80 degree soft water really makes them display their color not to mention he thinks it's his tank regular king of the forrest his mate which is a golden ram hides alot more than i'd like it too the corries know not to occupy his favorite flat spots lol i'm hoping they breed and i get some kind of cool hybrid ram.
