black stop juvenile jack dempsey
I got a jack dempsey about a month ago and It has a large black spot on both sides. sometime it is barely noticeable but other times it is a black void. is this normal for juvenile dempseys. I have read that the juvenile can look very differnt than the adult & none of the photos I have seen of them have such a spot.
I have a 55 gallon tank with a jack dempsey, an electric blue jack dempsey, 2 gold gouramis, & 2 algae eaters.

That's not a JD. Looks like a false Green Terror (Gold Saum).

I can see now that it is definitely a green terror. most of the photos I found of it have that dot on it so I guess it is normal for them & there is no need to worry about it.
