is this safe?

I just got done spray painting my tank hood/cover/trim with krylon fusion paint since thats safe right?
My question is I have had my aquarium gravel in our garage for about a year (in a bucket/not covered) and now that we are re-setting up our tank is it still safe to use? Would it be like contaminated or anything? Or would it be better just to buy new gravel?

Yep, Krylon is generally safe. I've even seen people use it in tanks before, with no ill effects.

You may just want to get new gravel, saying it was n the garage and you don't know if anything has happened to it over the last year.

if you ahve a big pot, just bring the gravel to a boil. then give it a good rinse and it will be fine. i would guess its fine now, but if youre concerned, boiling it is an easy solution

I'd probably get new gravel. Just because you don't know if there are any chemicals/pollutants that could have contaminated it since being in the garage that won't boil out. Wait, I just remembered you're not supposed to boil rocks....they can explode! Yeah, I'd go for new gravel ;)
