Greetings

Joined a little while back, thought I would do a proper intro.

Never had an aquarium before; guess growing up in Florida and Hawaii, rather swim with the fish then keep them in a tank. ( why does that remind me of the 'God Father'? )

Got the bug for a tank awhile back and have been working on cycling and learning what needs to be done.

Enjoy the way people on this board interact with each other, so decided to join in...

Anyway, things moving right along with my small 10 gallon FW tank. Limited LFS in area, which makes it hard to get info.

6 Serpae Tetra's and started some Aponogeton bulbs ( sprouting nicely! )

Hoping to do something in SW after a time and She says I can have another tank.

So, a hello to all on the board.

Wife thought I needed a hobby, so she surprised me with "Fish in Space" and UGA ( Platy) for my desk.

Kept him alive while my new 10 gallon cycled. Decided to put his 'old' home inside the tank.

Everyone in the tank seems to enjoy it, so I guess it stays.

Hi There! Welcome to the forum. I love how you upgraded the Space Ship. I'm glad that she says you can have another tank. My he told me the same thing. :-D

welcome to the forum.

nice little setup, how about a background? since its full of water painting it will be difficult but you could always paint something black and stick it behind it or get a black background at a LFS. black will make things "pop" out a considerable amount. really any background would do to hide some of those wires and pieces of equipment.

and no intention to jump off topic here but what ever happened to that large build kym? hope its still in the planning stage..

Thanks for the hint on a background. Would like to do some changes to the tank and that is one I was thinking about.

Not quite sure about your question regarding 'Kym'... went back and read my posting and can not find a reference.
