Mushu
 

This is my new Betta Mushu, he's a crowntail and I just love him!
I have only had him a week, he is so colorful and loves his new Eclipse Hex 5 aquarium!
He poses for me when I take pictures and he looks so graceful when he's swimming.
His colors change at times, one minute he looks dark blue, then he looks purple, he also has a shimmery aqua where his fins are attached to his body.
This is the first Betta I have ever owned, and I'm very proud LOL!

yes I did too, I thought the camera would scare him away, but he waited right there for me to take the pic.

Thats cool. Maybe he knows he's gorgeous. lol

I think he does, he flits around the tank and flares his fins, he knows he's king of the tank LOL!
I'm waiting to add a catfish and algea eater. Then maybe a couple tetras for company. Haven't decided yet.

You're going to be limited as far as the tankmates you can keep with a betta in a 5gl. Just a heads up :-)
